Local Movers did a fantastic job for us today. We sold a very heavy entertainment unit on Facebook Marketplace and we needed help to get it to the buyer. Next day service, hourly rate was fair and the best I could find after calling 10 big moving companies. The movers were very careful with both my house and the other persons house. I would highly recommend!

Milton and his team were amazing. From the moment i opened the door they got to work. They disassembled and reassembled my bed and couch. Even went the extra mile to put my TV back on the wall. ( TV mounts were already up prior) I paid for 3 hours with 3 movers for a 1 BR 1 BA with a 50 minute drive to the new home. They were done with 20 minutes to spare. I will definitely use them shall i need them again and definitely recommend them! Tanya was also helpful in answering all of my questions and working with my schedule as well. This is definitely the moving company you should book. 🙂

Richie, Gerson and Osman moved me from my apartment in a duplex to the apartment downstairs - and did a great job. They were courteous, professional and cheerful. Everything was moved with great care, nothing was damaged, everything was placed as near as possible to where I wanted it, and they took great care to work out a placement solution for a large item of furniture that didn't fit where I planned to put it. I cannot thank them enough, or recommend them too highly.

Best service ever. Milton Gabriel and Gerson were amazing and worked super hard, really went above and beyond. We just bought a new house right before Christmas and wanted to move in asap. I scheduled Sunday for Monday move. They were able to accommodate my requests. I got the full service package and they took lots of care packing my stuff and all my delicate items. And any request I had they accommodated to me. Keep in mind I’m 7 months pregnant. So they were super super super amazing. I highly recommend.

Local movings helped us move from the 3rd floor of an apartment in the Heights out to the suburbs and they did an AMAZING job. From on-time arrival to loading up all my precious items to heavy furniture and unloading everything with care at our house (total 5 hours). We couldn't believe how efficient and polite they were! I will definitely be coming back to Local Movings for any future moves and highly recommend using them for anyone looking. PLUS their pricing is clear and precise without any extra additional fees.

Opted for a team of 4 for $170 per hour to pack, move, and unpack. We went from a 2nd Floor apartment to a 1st floor apartment about 20 miles apart. They did a good job packing, moving, and unloading. They definitely worked hard.
We ultimately decided to stop work on the unpacking since they weren't placing items back in a similar way that they were originally organized (before packing). Good thing they're by the hour so we just ended the job early.
Everyone is friendly, even folks spoken to over the phone. Would use their moving services again.

Great service. The movers - Richie, Carlos, and Yuniel - were fast, courteous, and professional. Would definitely use them again!

Local movings did a great job! We called them last minute on a Friday at 3 pm to move the next day. Movers showed up at expected time Saturday and ended up moving double what we had initially anticipated (3 bedrooms/garage in 3 hrs). They wrap/provide moving blankets at no extra cost. If you need to hire movers, local movings is the best out there!

I recently used Local Movings for my charity donation drop off, and I couldn't be more pleased with their service. From start to finish, Fabricio & Grup were incredibly professional and efficient. They arrived right on time and wasted no time getting to work. They handled all of my belongings with care, ensuring everything arrived at its new destination safely. What stood out the most was their promptness; they completed the entire move in record time without sacrificing quality. My cousin and I were moving from my old apartment to a new & one when the guys arrived & They were quick. Everything was pretty much loaded onto the truck in an hour. Great time. Also, They were patient with when it came to the payment because I really didn’t know how to use PayPal and my card Wasn’t able to sync, for 20 minutes they waited for us to figure that out & was trying to help me the best way they could, we appreciated the patience in that annoying situation. I’ll be recommending this company to my coworkers.

I hired Local Moving for my recent move, and I had such a great experience. The team of three movers did an excellent job. Daniel and Luis were very friendly, professional, and careful with all of my belongings. Everything was handled with care and arrived safely. On top of that, their pricing was one of the most reasonable I found in Houston. I would definitely recommend Local Moving to anyone looking for a smooth and stress-free move!

Phenomenal move. Very quick and professional moving service that if you are looking for a move on a budget, they are the ones to go with. Miguel, Cuba, and Fabrizio were friendly and got the furniture picked up and dropped within the two hours I paid for the move. If I’m looking to move in the future, I will definitely go back with local movings. Thank you for the great service!

Joshua and his crew have been awesome. They helped us for packing and moving. They did a really great job. They are super friendly & helpful. The move was easy, no damage to mention. Everything got to the destination and assembled in a perfect way!

This moving company was wonderful to work with. They were easily accessible by phone and had great customer service. Our organization held a charity drive and hired Local Movings to transport collected items to the charity warehouse. Unfortunately, we did not receive as many donations as we were hoping for, and they were incredibly flexible at the last minute to accommodate our situation. I would definitely go to them the next time I need a move. Thank you!!!
